Virtually stoned ..

Long Meg and her daughters

A & Z are touring the Lakes at the moment and sent me through these photographs of some of the monuments they have been exploring.

It’s been a while since we’ve visited this area ourselves - so it’s great to catch up albeit virtually with these fabulous stone settings.

Coincidentally, whilst A & Z are travelling, A and I had a day on the coast in A & Z’s neck of the woods - Worth Matravers - I’d forgotten about the modern "woodhenge" situated in a horse paddock adjacent to the Worth car park .. an interesting addition to the local landscape.
